§ 23-33. Funds and clerical assistance for registrar.

The city council shall furnish the registrar of vital statistics, in his capacity as registrar, with the necessary funds and such clerical assistance as may be necessary to maintain an adequate division of vital statistics, and to enable the registrar to secure complete records, and shall provide for the safe preservation of such birth, death and fetal death records, and their respective amendments.
