§ 33-123. Planting and other decorations in the cemetery.

  • (a)

    Grass, flowers, shrubs, trees, or other types of vegetation shall be planted only by or at the direction of the city manager or designee. Plantings by individuals are prohibited and shall be removed by the city.

    (b)

    Decoration in the cemetery is limited to the placing of cut flowers at a gravesite. The digging of holes for the placement of flowers is not permitted.

    (c)

    The city manager or his designee shall have the right to remove all flowers when they become withered or unsightly.

    (d)

    The city manager or his designee is empowered to and may enter upon any space within the cemetery and remove anything that may have been erected or placed thereon contrary to the provisions of this article.
